Carnival
Description
The characters appear and disappear at the same time, fragmented, overlapping, like in a continuous movement that never stops. There is no fixed identity, but a succession of masks that are born from one another, never reaching a final face. The gestures are tense, almost violent, as if each shape is trying to detach itself from another shape. Behind the vivid color lies a deep unease, a restlessness that is not play, but search. The carnival thus becomes not a celebration, but a space of rupture, where being gets lost and is incessantly rebuilt.
